Kyo Kayamoto is a Japanese illustrator known for cute animal characters and stuffed animals.

Kyo grew up moving around the world and living in locations such as Brazil, Japan, Chile, Spain, and even Kansas State.

After graduating from Pratt Institute, she started writing and illustrating books, creating animations, and other illustration and graphic design projects for a variety of clients.

Though most of her work uses cute, friendly characters and elements with bright colors, she often addresses today's issues including; inequalities, mental health, and cultural misunderstandings.
